HIGH TREES

We designed and made this bespoke kitchen for a family who love to cook. Every cupboard and cabinet was planned around how they use the space, and the whole room was built around their top priority: a Lacanche range cooker. Brass handles, an integrated stainless steel fridge and freezer, and veined natural stone worktops give it a mix of textures and a touch of luxury.

We’ve worked with this client on several projects over the years, so it was a pleasure to work with them again. At our first design consultation they told us they needed plenty of storage for their cooking essentials. We worked closely with their builder to create a walk-in pantry with stone and glass doors, so it flows seamlessly into the kitchen.

The colour scheme was chosen to suit the room. It faces east and loses its natural light later in the day, so we used deeper tones to give it a moody, sophisticated feel, which shows how a handmade kitchen can be designed around both the people and the light in a home.

As kitchen designers and cabinet makers based in Chalfont St Giles, we create bespoke kitchens, fitted cabinetry and custom storage for homes across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the Chilterns. That includes Amersham, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Chesham, Great Missenden, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Marlow, High Wycombe, Denham, Berkhamsted and Windsor.
